Begone Skin and Body is committed to providing the highest possible quality of service to every one of our valued patients. Our cancellation policy is designed to allow us to give every patient the time and attention they deserve.

We reserve a time and clinician specifically for each patient when an appointment is made.

Each patient will be contacted at least 2 business days prior to their scheduled appointment via SMS to the mobile number and/or to the email address we have on file reminding them of the scheduled appointment day and time.

We understand that sometimes circumstances arise that may require a patient to adjust their plans. If it is necessary to cancel or rebook an appointment, we respectfully request that we are advised at least 1 business day before the scheduled appointment.

If an appointment is cancelled less than 1 business day prior to the scheduled time, a service fee will be charged. In circumstances where the cancelled appointment was part of a prepaid package visit, one treatment will be redeemed from the package.

If a patient fails to attend their appointment (no show), a service fee will be charged. In circumstances where the cancelled appointment was part of a prepaid package visit, one treatment will be redeemed from the package.

Service fees are based on the advertised price for the service booked and covers the cost of lost clinician and clinic time. The service fee applicable to late notice cancellation and no shows will be charged to the patient’s stored card on file.

In the event of a significant medical reason or an emergency we may waive any charge under this policy at our discretion. In such circumstances patients must contact us to discuss the problem before the end of the business day the appointment was scheduled.

Late Arrival Policy

At Begone Skin and Body, we know that our patients lead busy lives, and it is important that we keep appointments on time. We work hard to ensure this.

We understand that sometimes life is unpredictable, and at times you may be running late due to circumstances out of your control. We recommend always checking traffic 30 mins prior to your planned travel time to ensure you allocate enough time to get here.

As we reserve a time and clinician specifically for each patient when an appointment is made. If a patient believes that they may be late to an appointment, they should call before the scheduled appointment time, with as much notice as possible.

If a patient is unexpectedly delayed, and has notified the clinic ahead of time, we will endeavour to complete the treatment scheduled in the time remaining in order to ensure that other patients are not adversely affected. Please note this is only possible in situations where Practitioners feel they will still have enough time to perform your treatment in keeping with our high standards of safety and patient outcomes.

At times it may be possible to reschedule your appointment for later in the day, depending upon the availability of the treating practitioner and other patient appointments. If this is possible, no additional fee will be incurred.

In circumstances where there is not be enough time to proceed with a patient’s treatment due to a late arrival, a service fee may be charged, and their appointment will be rescheduled to a later time/date. Where the affected appointment was part of a prepaid package visit, one treatment will be redeemed from the package.

Consultation Fee Policy

We do not want anyone to miss the opportunity to experience the Begone Skin and Body difference. All our patients are exceptionally important to us.

For every appointment made, we schedule a skilled practitioner, and ensure enough time is allocated.

If a patient has not been seen in our clinic over the past 12 months, a consultation fee will be taken at the time of booking. This prepaid consultation fee can then be put towards any service or product on the day of the appointment. If it is elected not to proceed with a treatment or to purchase any product, the consultation fee will be refunded.
